Here we have our first official double-digit episode. What a milestone! Things will literally never be the same!
This turned out to be a real doozie of an episode, but one well worth investing time in–ours and yours. I even got to play around with the structure a little bit, due to our first ever fact-checking break. This, in turn, gave me a chance to use a new song by death’s dynamic shroud.wmv.
So this time we’re looking at David Twohy‘s The Chronicles of Riddick, starring Vin Diesel (Riddick), Dame Judi Dench (Aereon), Karl Urban (Vaako), Keith David (Imam), Thandie Newton (Dame Vaako), and Colm Feore (Lord Marshal)…
…as well as Sion Sono‘s Love Exposure, starring Takahiro Nishijima (Yu), Hikari Mitsushima (Yoko), and Sakura Ando (Koike).
I’m happy to say this is one of our most candid (hah, right?) episodes yet. After recording both segments weeks apart, we finally sat down to discuss a 4 hour Japanese film, during which time our communications completely broke down because I started mixing up Japanese characters’ names and backstories. It’s a lot of fun.
