This is our first recording using Logic in like a year and a half. Cool!
Jon and I finished our viewing of Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon, an adaptation of William Makepeace Thackery’s The Luck of Barry Lyndon. This was never one of Kubrick’s mainstream successes, and isn’t a very common title to be brought up when people recount his work, but it is a technically brilliant feat, and a well-acted, thoroughly interesting picture.
Famously, this film was filmed with special lenses in order to get everything in only natural light. Look. At. This. Shit.
We’re going to try and get together with Kayleigh next week, after Jon has seen Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to discuss that and the abysmal 2019 Academy Awards.
