Let’s try this again.
My friend Cea came into town and brought with her a copy of Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, starring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, and half the cast of Harry Potter. Based on the short story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving, this adaptation was a movie! From the early 2000s!We watched it, and had opinions!
I hate doing things over again. I hate it. That’s why this post is so low-effort, and why it’s taken so long to get up. Last Thursday I typed a perfectly good blog post for the release of this episode, which released almost a week ago, but I wasn’t connected to my college’s wifi and I accidentally hit the Back button on my browser when my brain misfired from meaning to select-all and copy the contents. It was all pretty basic stuff, though. Such as…
We really thought when we finished recording, that we’d spent the entire episode talking about Johnny Depp and how much money he spends on wine and corpses fired from cannons! And I was relieved, while editing, to find out that that was not the case. We actually do spend a not-insignificant amount of time discussing Sleepy Hollow.
I’m upset with myself for failing to do the normal outro stuff during the recording, so here is the due mention of our beloved Tech Honors and James Webster of Ghost Diamond, in thanks for their letting us use their Death’s Dynamic Shroud music for the show.
Thanks for stopping over to the blog. We’d love it if you shared the show with your friends if you like what we do. Don’t forget to rate and review the podcast on your podcatcher of choice if you can, like Apple Podcasts, but don’t forget you can find the show all over the place, including Spotify and Stitcher.
